TikTok Creator Network Content Monetization Policy

Last Updated: October 2026

1. Introduction

1.1 TikTok thanks you for your contribution to the TikTok LIVE content ecosystem and is sharing this policy so that you better understand your role in developing high quality content on TikTok LIVE.
1.2 This Policy is subject to and supplemented by the Creator Network Code of Conduct. Terms defined in the Creator Network Code of Conduct have the same meaning as used in this Policy, unless otherwise described. In the event of any conflict between the provisions of this Policy and the Creator Network Code of Conduct and/or other TikTok Policies, the terms of this Policy take precedence, solely to the extent of such conflict.
1.3 We remind you that, pursuant to your LIVE Services Agreement ("LSA") with TikTok, you are obliged to ensure that your creators will comply with TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines and any other applicable policies, rules, terms and conditions issued by TikTok from time to time. Your LIVE Services Agreement incorporates the Creator Network Code of Conduct and you are responsible for ensuring that your creators understand any obligations in that policy that may impact their go-live and monetization opportunities. The fee you receive from TikTok will reflect any violations by your creators of our platform-wide policies and the Creator Network Code of Conduct.
1.4 You are reminded that the Creator Network Code of Conduct requires you to manage LIVE creators in line with such policy. Your creators are prohibited from coercing, encouraging or soliciting gifts or access to exclusive content and they may not post, upload, stream or share any content that breaches the Community Guidelines. Where they invite other creators to participate in their content, they are responsible for the contributions made by such third parties.
1.5 Your creators benefit from continued guidance and training from you. From time to time, your TikTok business partner will update you on trends in violations of Community Guidelines and other content related TikTok Policies by the LIVE community in your region. We expect you to manage your creators actively to avoid them contributing to such trends.

2. Priority Remediation

2.1 Pursuant to this Policy we set out our expectations in relation to content that requires priority remediation. You are expected to provide guidance and training to avoid your creators from producing content that falls the violation scenarios outlined in this section. Where any of your creators has produced content under these violation scenarios, we expect you to prioritise these creators for closer management and redirect them to produce appropriate content. In addition, your Creator Network fee and Creator Network Task Bonus will be subject to the provisions of section 3 below.
You acknowledge and agree that TikTok has sole discretion to determine that a livestream constitutes Content Violation under this Policy.

LIVE Monetization Guidelines Violations
2.3 TikTok LIVE enables creators and viewers to connect, create, and build communities together in real-time. To ensure that LIVE monetization features are used in ways that promote the positive interactions they're intended for, our LIVE Monetization Guidelines (LMG) lay out how some content is not eligible for monetization.
(1) LIVE content that involves monetization-related features is held to a higher integrity standard. Content or behavior that misleads users, manipulates engagement or rewards, or exploits platform mechanisms for unfair gain is ineligible for LIVE monetization. This principle applies to all existing and future LIVE monetization features and may be further specified in feature-level policies. We may temporarily restrict access to monetization features for content or creators who violate these Guidelines, with repeated or severe violations potentially leading to permanent restriction.
(2) The areas covered by LMG include, but are not limited to, body exposure and sexualized behaviors, dangerous activity and challenges, harassment and bullying, inauthentic LIVE experience, low quality content, fake engagement and gift baiting, degrading or disruptive behaviors, monetization involving youths, conflicts or tragedies, critical events and others.
